Kickstart Your Creative Arts Project

Would you like to set up a community arts project or workshop but don’t know where to start? Spend the day with Spectra’s Creative team and get the guidance and inspiration to start making the work you want with the people you want to work with.

Part of Spectra’s Artist Development Programme for Learning Disabled and/or Neurodiverse creatives.

  • A playful, inclusive and practical session to accommodate different learning styles
  • Test ideas alongside other creatives
  • Creative approaches to project planning
  • Explore the ‘Who, What, Where, When and Why’ of a project plan

Who’s leading the session?

Kate DeRight is the Creative Director of Spectra. Kate holds space for collaborations, suggests ideas for projects, manages finances, helps with fundraising and delivers creative participation sessions.

Hayley Guest is Creative Lead at Spectra. Hayley focuses on Spectra’s creative process, both in the studio when we are making work with the performance company, and when we are out and about in the community getting creative with our fantastic partner organisations.
