Missing Mothers: Retaining & supporting valued colleagues in the workforce

  • 21st - 22nd March 2025
  • 09:30 - 12:30
  • Online (Zoom)

The MTPT Project’s annual conference tackling the damaging impact of the motherhood penalty on our workforce.

Women aged 30-39 are the largest group of teachers to leave the profession every year, and motherhood has a lot to do with it.

This March, The MTPT Project are collaborating with The New Britain Project at our annual virtual conference, Missing Mothers, to share what we can do to address the damaging impact of the motherhood penalty on our workforce, and retain valuable teachers.

Spread across two mornings, we’ve got a brilliant line up of sessions and speakers outlining and building on the findings of our Missing Mothers report, which received national attention in the summer of 2024.
