Assistant Head of Community Music Service and Primary Advisor for Music
We are looking for an Assistant Head of Service and a Primary Music Advisor to lead our primary music provision. The Community Music Service (CMS) seeks a dedicated and innovative musician to join our successful team.
We are seeking musicians or teachers with extensive experience across various classroom and instrumental styles, and the capability to lead ensembles and choirs. Applicants must possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have prior senior leadership or management experience in a Music Service or School. The role includes teaching within an instrument specialism for an agreed portion of the week. A thorough understanding of the National Plan for Music Education and the Music Hub Investment Plan is essential. Successful candidates will demonstrate a proven track record of pupil progression in primary education from EYFS to Key Stage 2. The working window for the Community Music Service is Monday to Friday 8am – 6pm.
