Board Members
Hertfordshire Music Hub is seeking to augment its current Board with new members who will complement a wide range of experience and skills.
Hertfordshire Music Hub is seeking new volunteer Board members to enhance our diverse and skilled team. We value diversity, promote equality, and challenge discrimination. We welcome applications from individuals with experience of and passion for music education, especially those with relevant lived experiences or who have overcome barriers to musical inclusion.
We are looking for representatives from further, higher, and tertiary education, industry professionals, parents, community members, and to represent youth voice. No specific qualifications are required, but members should be passionate about supporting young people, maintain integrity, be active and dedicated to their duties as a Board member, align with our values, and possess strong judgment, creativity, and teamwork skills.
Term and time commitment: Board members serve a term of three years and can be re-elected once (i.e., may serve a maximum of two terms, totalling six years). The Board meets four times a year in a hybrid manner, although it is requested that the first meeting of the academic year is in person. Meetings are held on a weekday evening and are approximately 2.5 hours in length.
