Cumbria Music Hub is seeking to appoint an Independent Chair and Board Members for its newly established Music Hub Board.
Cumbria Music Hub is seeking to appoint an Independent Chair and Board Members to join our newly established Music Hub Board. These voluntary roles provide a fantastic opportunity for experienced and inspiring colleagues to join our Board and make a meaningful contribution to the strategic development of music education for children and young people across the region. Working with key organisations including Westmorland and Furness Council, and with the broad range of Cumbria Music Hub partners, the Chair and Board members will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of music education in the area.

We would like to hear about your motivation for applying and how your skills, knowledge and experience meet the requirements of the role of Board member, as set out in application pack attached.
Please submit:
- an up-to-date CV, and
- a supporting covering letter of no more than two sides of A4, or a video lasting no longer than two minutes.
Please indicate in the email that you are applying to become a member of the Cumbria Music Hub Board.
Supporting conversations will then be held with shortlisted applicants during February/March. These conversations will be held in person or on Microsoft Teams. Successful candidates will be invited to join the first meeting on the new Hub Board in April 2025.
