Instrumental Tutors
Tower Hamlets Arts and Music Education Service (THAMES) is expanding its provision and is seeking to appoint the following experienced Instrumental Tutors: Woodwind (including recorder), Voice, and Primary Classroom Curriculum Music.
We are especially interested in appointing highly talented and enthusiastic tutors who are excited by the possibility of being part of an award-winning music service and the London East Music Hub (ELMA).
Key Responsibilities
Your key task will be to teach music to pupils in individual/small group lessons, and/or whole classes, in line with THAMES policies and the Service Level Agreement (SLA) to schools in Tower Hamlets.
Requirements
Candidates should have:
a) Successful instrumental/curriculum teaching experience in a music service or school, delivering small group, whole class, or classroom curriculum music lessons
b) Evidence of commitment to continuing professional development
c) Evidence of significant practical music-making at a high-level of performance
The postholder will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check on appointment and then every three years thereafter.
