Music Centre Tutors
Inspiring Music is looking to recruit 2 experienced, committed, and enthusiastic Music Centre tutors to start on Saturday 11th January. This role includes face to face as well as online delivery of lessons as required.
As the Music Service for Central Bedfordshire, we aim to provide a full range of instrumental and vocal opportunities for students and create an inclusive environment that encourages everyone to enjoy music and flourish.
We offer music lessons for children in schools and music centres at the weekend, where the entire family can join in. We also teach whole class workshops in schools and organise instrumental events and larger concerts in professional venues to give children the opportunity to showcase their learning in front of an audience.
We are looking for two tutors to lead group sessions at our Music Centres, held on Saturday mornings in the first instance.
We have one position at Ampthill Music Centre, ideally teaching rock group, guitar, ukulele and iPad music production.
The second position is at Leighton Linslade Music Centre, ideally teaching a beginner instrumental ensemble, a contemporary music group and leading our orchestra.
All teaching ensembles/sessions are flexible and can be matched to the tutors’ strengths.
Both positions start on on Saturday 11th January. The tutors will be able to deliver face to face sessions and also online lessons if required.
How to Apply
If you are an experienced, committed, and enthusiastic tutor and have a passion for helping learners progress please send a CV and covering letter to Inspiring.Music@centralbedfordshire.gov.uk.
