Wandsworth Music is looking for talented and inspiring music tutors who are committed to delivering a high quality music education. We are seeking music tutors in all areas but are especially keen to hear from tutors with the following specialisms:

  • String Tutors: Violin, Viola, Cello and Double Bass – experience and interest in whole class teaching desirable
  • Wind Tutors: Bassoon, Saxophone, Clarinet
  • Brass Tutors: Trombone, Trumpet, French Horn, Tuba
  • Piano

As an independent and inclusive charity, Wandsworth Music delivers excellence in music education and performance to more than 8,500 children a year. We provide opportunities for young people to learn musical instruments and sing; perform in a range of ensembles and choirs; work and perform alongside acclaimed professional musicians and ensembles, and most importantly develop a lifelong love of music!

We are looking for talented and inspiring music tutors to join our teaching panel to deliver lessons in schools and at the Wandsworth Music Academy.

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

  • The ability to demonstrate high levels of musicianship
  • The ability and passion to motivate, engage and inspire young people of all musical abilities and backgrounds
  • The ability to maintain high professional standards at all times, including excellent timekeeping and communication skills.
  • An enthusiastic team player, able to use their own initiative.

Please note that these are PAYE positions and not self-employed.
