Teaching and Learning Support Manager – Music Service
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate Teaching and Learning Support Manager to join the vibrant team at Redbridge Music Service, part of Vision Redbridge Culture and Leisure.
Hours: 40 hours
In this pivotal role, you’ll work with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of all teaching activities across the Service. You’ll take on a variety of responsibilities, including supporting the management of an incredible team of teaching staff, coordinating teaching timetabling, and leading a range of exciting projects and performances across diverse venues.
Based at the John Savage Centre in Hainault, you’ll find yourself immersed in a world of musical energy, surrounded by instruments, creativity, and passion. This centre is buzzing with activity, delivering tuition in 48 Redbridge schools and expanding its services to teach not only children but also adults, toddlers, and even babies! With over 50 concerts per year, including performances at iconic venues like the Royal Albert Hall, your role will directly impact the musical journeys of talented students in the community.
Job requirements:
- Working with the Head of Teaching and Learning and other senior members to deliver high quality teaching and learning across the service
- Working alongside the Business Manager to support in Payroll and HR matters
- Support the Head of Teaching and Learning with the administration of and timetabling of school orders
Essential requirements:
- Possession of a degree or equivalent experience
- Project management skills and experience
- Experience in working within a School, Trust or Local Authority
- Substantial experience in following processes and procedures
- Able to use innovative and practical solutions in business management
