Music Hub Investment Programme Announcement
7th May 2024
The Music Hub Investment Programme, administered by Arts Council England, gave organisations the opportunity to apply to become a Hub Lead Organisation for the Music Hub programme starting in September 2024. Arts Council England announced the successful new Hub Lead Organisations today.
Congratulations to the successful new Hub Lead Organisations (HLOs) announced by Arts Council England. The 43 HLOs will strategically lead the new Music Hubs in England from the autumn working in partnership with a diverse network of music education organisations and individuals. The UK Association for Music Education – Music Mark remains focussed on supporting everyone to navigate this period of change and we look forward to continuing to champion the fantastic work our music education sector across the UK delivers to support children and young people to access musical learning opportunities in and out of school.
In addition to a wide range of training and resources available to its UK-wide membership, Music Mark is developing a specific package of support for HLOs and their partners which will evolve to reflect their needs over the coming months. Currently, support includes one-to-one conversations with Bridget Whyte (Music Mark CEO) and Gary Griffiths (an independent consultant working with Music Mark to support its Membership), facilitated group conversations, mentoring and coaching, wellbeing support, advice partners, and guidance. We have also made it free for Music Mark Members to advertise voluntary roles on our Jobs Board which we hope will support the development of the governance structures each HLO will need to put in place.
You can explore the full package of support here.
If there is any additional support that you would like to request, please get in touch with info@musicmark.org.uk.
