From our ‘Talk into Action: Emerge to Thrive’ online training course, to peer groups, practical sessions, and much more, this dynamic programme can help you to enhance your music education practice and stay up to date with developments within the sector.

Training and events focusing on inclusivity within the music education sector
23rd January – 4th March 2024 | Talk into Action: Emerge to Thrive
Emerge to Thrive is a series of online masterclasses and workshops on learning how to effectively lead in a commitment to EDI in your organisation. Designed for leaders of Diversity and/or Inclusion, this course will help develop your skills and help you to instigate change in your organisation and beyond. Book your place.
31st January – 24th April 2024 | New Directions in Inclusive Music series with MEHEM Uprising!
This series will explore how you can engage more diverse groups of young people and improve inclusivity at your organisation across four sessions:
- 31st January 2024 | Inclusive Instrumental Teaching & Accessible Ensembles
- 28th February 2024 | Accessible Instruments & Music Hubs: Finding the ‘On’ Switch
- 20th March 2024 | Inclusion Leads & Music Development Plans: Specialist approaches for specialist settings
- 24th April 2024 | Musical Playfulness for pupils with PMLD

Join us for our online discussion group for classroom and instrumental music teachers. 10th January 2024 | Apple: Planning Essentials and Music Education
Join us for a day of discussion on music technology alongside Apple and Jigsaw24 at Apple’s new London headquarters at Battersea Power Station. This event is for music service/hub leaders in England, or those working specifically on music technology. Places are limited so book now.
7th February 2024 | Introduction to Fundraising with Cause4
Join Cause4 in this two-hour workshop, designed to give you the skills and confidence needed to become a successful fundraiser. The session will explore the different income streams available; how to conduct effective research and identify the right sources for you, and how to develop a compelling Case for Support.
