Unleash the Magic of Mendelssohn’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream!
We are thrilled to announce the launch of our exciting new online resources for schools: Inside the Music: A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Inspired by our enchanting 2021 film A London Dream these free resources centre around Felix Mendelssohn’s masterpiece and unlock its musical and cross-curricular potential for Key Stage 2.
Our resources are designed to be seamlessly integrated into school learning plans, allowing teachers to successfully engage their students in the world of music. Each resource fosters musical learning, encourages creative exploration, and ignites the imagination.
The resources were crafted with real input from children and primary teachers, following workshops with Hotham Primary School and Beatrix Potter Primary Schools, delivered in partnership with Wandsworth Music Hub. The teachers and young participants left their mark on the final products making them perfectly suited for the Key Stage 2 classroom.
