Local Plan for Music Education 2024/2025 Resources
Added to website 08/08/2024. Updated 12/08/2024.
This series of templates, summaries and guidance for elements of the Local Plan for Music Education (LPME) has been developed by Gary Griffiths for Music Mark.
These resources are intended to support the development of your Local Plan for Music Education (LPME). We have tested some of them and believe, based on feedback we have received, that you will find them helpful. The following documents are available for download:
- LPME Summary: This summary collects key points and links from the 102-page LPME Guidance document. You should not regard it as an alternative to the Arts Council England document but it provides a roadmap to help you locate key information.
- Submissions Summary: This is taken from the list of submissions published on 8th July 2024 and it includes links to the mandatory templates on Arts Council England’s website and to existing Music Mark resources.
- Commissioning Policy Outline: This outline gathers Arts Counil England’s prompts into a suggested structure with some commentary to help order your thoughts.
- Music Hub Development Plan and Partners: This spreadsheet is a veteran of three successful Music Hub bids! It gathers the information you need to upload to Grantium and flags if you exceed character counts. The Partner Table tab is most likely to be of use going forward.
- Hub Board Example Terms of Reference: This is an updated version of a set of Terms of Reference originally written to the 2022 guidance, incorporating the 2024 requirements.
