Music Hub Board Reporting Toolkit

Added to website 16/09/2024.

This resource has been created as a tool for Hub Lead Organisations to use in their board reporting. The template is intended to act as a tool for reflection by Hub Lead Organisation leaders, to enable them to cover the requirements of board reporting for Arts Council England whilst enabling boards a digestible and clear agenda and outcomes for each meeting.

Although aimed at the Arts Council England Hub Lead Organisation reporting, this template could be adapted and used for other organisations to use with boards.

You will see as you go through the document that all slides have both user and content suggestions (in the notes section) to help with use and are optional and can be edited and/or removed as required.

If you have any questions about the template or need any advice on its use, please do get in touch by emailing info@musicmark.org.uk.

Please note, this template is unlikely to be sufficient alone to satisfy all requirement, i.e. budget, risk ratings and smart objectives are likely to need to be presented in full alongside this, but will hopefully allow colleagues to reflect and provide a central place for key updates from meeting to meeting.

A specific note on slide 12 (Purchasing Plan Update):
This slide has been created for completion from a slightly adapted version of the purchasing plan template created by Arts Council England. The adaptation to this sheet includes an additional tab, containing formulas which allow for the data captured in this slide to be automatically populated and copied across from Microsoft Excel. This is for your ease but please do delete as appropriate if not required for you.
