In February 2023, Music Mark ran a webinar outlining the options available to music students wanting to explore careers in vocal and instrumental teaching, including:
- Information about qualifications and training
- Interviews with current teachers
- Presentations from training establishments and music services
- The chance to put your questions to the experts
The panel of speakers included Vicki Brown (Curriculum Consultant, Derbyshire Music Hub), Charlotte Buxton (Deputy Head of Music Service, Services for Education), Kelly Davey Nicklin (PGCE Secondary Course Leader and Senior Lecturer in Music Education, Birmingham City University), Anna Lang (Senior Leader: Teaching and Learning, Berkshire Maestros) and Catherine Brentnall (A Common Approach).
